The Tarac Environment Future Fund allocates up to $20,000 a year to individuals, companies, organisations and associations to increase the body of knowledge about environmental solutions for the Australian Wine Industry.
To increase its relevance to ‘current’ environmental issues impacting on the industry an additional tier had been added to the fund this year. The Fund is now inviting submissions for projects that focus on providing climate change solutions for the Wine Industry – these can be related to climate change mitigation or adaptation strategies.
Applications will be assessed by a panel of technical experts from Tarac Technologies and other leading independent wine industry organisations. Funding will be granted to applicants with unique and innovative proposals that can be rapidly commercialised (1-2 years) and have wider industry applications.
TEFF has support from the Winemakers’ Federation of Australia, the South Australian Wine Industry Association and the Grape and Wine Research Development Corporation as recognition of Tarac’s contribution to Sustaining Success, the Australian wine Industry’s Environment Strategy.
Get your application in now – last date for applications is Friday 10 October 2008.
