As Australia's leading supplier of grape alcohol, Tarac currently processes in excess of 30 million litres of distillation wine, lees and 100,000 tonnes of grape marc (residual skins and seeds from winemaking) to produce grape alcohol and various spirit styles.

With distilleries located at Nuriootpa and Berri in South Australia, and Griffith in New South Wales, Tarac is able to produce and supply:

Fortifying spirit - 96% alcohol: and a range of ex-still brandy spirit styles.
Oak matured brandy of various ages.
Neutral spirit - ideal for more "european style" alcoholic beverages eg Limoncello & Schnapps.
Industrial spirit - methylated grape alcohol for brine refrigeration systems.

These products are supplied to the Australian wine, food and beverage industries and in excess of 4 million litres is exported to key world markets.

Excise Approval

Tarac is only permitted to supply grape and other spirit products to customers who have obtained the necessary concessional approval from the Excise Division of the Australian Taxation Office and have nominated Tarac as a supplier. The appropriate excise documentation will accompany all dispatches of spirit from Tarac.
