GrapEX™ grape SKIN tannin

GrapEX™ grape skin tannin is available as an alcohol free concentrate or can be combined with alcohol.

Applications:

pre/post fermentation
pre/post malo-lactic fermentation
post blending
post fining
pre-bottling
recommended dosage rate: 0.1% - 2% vol/vol’
Pre-bottling Condition:  Subject to stability testing after addition.  The objective is to guard against winemakers making additions to wine after cold stabilisation and outside winemaking practice for pre-bottling which is normally 4 weeks.

Typical Features and Benefits

Contain large concentrations of complex wine pigments enabling:
superior colour stability at low pH
resistant to sulphur dioxide bleaching
stable to oxidation
Colour density - contains approximately 20-25 times more colour than Australia's most premium wines
Superior filterability - Pre filtered to 0.1 micron nominal
Minimal effect on final blend turbidity

Improves quality of red wines

Meets Australian standards that permit grape-derived products into wine without label declaration
Derived from 100% Australian red wine grapes
Can be used in accordance with Australian blending and label integrity laws

Testing standards
