This is the average amount of winemaking residuals that Tarac Technologies processes for the Australian Wine Industry each year – a disposal service providing wineries with a sustainable solution as well as having many positive benefits for the environment which the wine industry should exploit.

Liquid
- Centrifuge waste (desludge)
- Tank lees
- Distillation Wine
- Stripwater
- Permeate
Solid
- Filtercake (perlite or diatomaceous earth)
Tarac’s peak receival period for these residuals is during Vintage, however Tarac does accept winery waste throughout the year.
Liquid and solids residuals can be delivered to Tarac’s Samuel Road facility in Nuriootpa, South Australia, by prior arrangement. Processing fees are subject to waste type, quality and volume.
