This project will be a continuation from the ‘Value add marc with Mealworm’ project. The objective will be to investigate the viability of protein derived from mealworms fed substrate blends, composed predominantly of dried processed Grape Marc as fishmeal replacer for finfish.

Tarac engaged James Cook University to conduct a research study optimising Acti-Meal ratio for Abalone. This project focuses on formula optimisation, growth-response trials and heat stress analysis.
