Compost Trial on local Nuriootpa Vineyard
Tarac and the Barossa Grape and Wine Association recently joined forces to trial a number of locally produced composts for vineyards.
Four combinations of chicken litter and cow manure, crimped and spent grape marc, scalps and wastewater sludge were produced for trial. Monitoring of the soil and plant health will be conducted over a period of time.
