An enhancer of flavour, a pleaser to the palate, Tarac fortifying alcohol (or ex-still brandy) adds character to fortified wine while increasing the alcohol content. As an un-matured brandy alcohol, it retains some wine characters and provides another level of complexity. 

Tarac ex-still brandy is available in two main styles:

Light fortifying alcohol

Elegant, with subtle characters of aniseed spice.

Heavy fortifying alcohol

Robust, with increasing layers of complexity, displaying a full flavoured profile.
